Quick question, anyone here into science? Any type of science, at all?

Nice! I'm studying Biology right now. But my favorite fields of Science are Physics, Phsycology, and cosmology.. But all science is interesting and neat XD

I like science too! Physics is the best - its easier to understand the technical jargon, but you don't need to dissect stuff ( which is absolutely sickening, especially as I have science right before lunch and the teacher was dissecting cows eyes. ) I'm fine with any questions too

Awesome LadySpook! I'm homeschooled so I can basically do my classes in whatever order I want. This year I get to disect a worm, a crayfish, a fish, and a frog. And Physics is so fun and it's always fun to think about a theory then finding something that doesn't make sense

Yeah, physics is really interesting too! I especially find quantum physics interesting: wormholes, black-holes, parallel universes! And yeah, in Biology we dissected a rat (and no one in my group really helped me because they were disgusted ) and a sheep's heart, both which smelled terrible. I remember a couple years ago I walked into science class and it smelled funny and the teacher said "Oh, the grade 12's were just dissecting kittens!!" And he showed whoever wanted to see what they looked like.

Well, since I'm sort of immune to being disgusted by blood and everything (my dad works at a hospital and when I was younger (5ish) I would go to the hospital by my self and visit him... so a bit of blood) and because of that at the stables I right at, I usually get the job of cleaning horse wounds.
And Quantum Physics is interesting.
Another thing that's interesting is Chemistry.

That's really cool! I'm not too fazed by blood either. And, you're so lucky you get to be around horses!

Basically, it's impossible for me to get properly squeamish now. (I got a knife through my foot. Imagine blood literally flowing everywhere, saturating the carpet and stuff. Then imagine the feeling of someone trying to burn up your feet when you take a step- imagine repeating that single step every time you put pressure on your foot for the rest of your life for the rest of your life in the full knowledge of what caused it and your inability to heal from it (I have blood problems similar to hemophilia), and the huge hole that is inside your foot. It's understandable that I know a LOT about the anatomy of feet through the animal kingdom given the knife wound and basically having all the tendons in my foot broken because of it). I also read the entire GCSE biology text-book in first form/year 7/6th grade, so my biology lessons bore the heck out of me. Weird how I genuinely liked cutting up a sheep's heart, when all the other girls were like "Oh no, it came from an animal and I'm cutting it up". I think the most productive girl (other than me) spent that lesson hanging the heart by the aorta off their scissors.
I seem to be joint-best in chemistry in my year, as I was one of four people to get chosen for the "top-of-the-bench" chemistry challenge in my school, along with a boy in 5th form/ year 11/ 10th grade and a girl in 4th form/ year 10/ 9th grade. Incidentally, In first form, we (The guy I'm tied with and me) tied joint-best in all the science tests.
Last week, my physics teacher (who is the best teacher ever, if you hate homework), gave us A level questions and I was the only one to get the first question an answer without outside help, and the only one who got more than half-way through.
