Is it sad that I haven't even thought up a plot for mine yet? Silly me! I don't even know how I'm going to make it through Fanfiction.net, let alone the contest!

Hmmm, plot help. I suggest reading and listening to some epic music- that always helps me think of something to write!

You guys both have fanfiction.net accounts? That's interesting, because I sometimes go on there to read stories from it whenever I get bored!

I always get the best writing ideas right before I fall asleep. Weird... You could also try looking at the different cards or information about Bella Sara, it might help you form a storyline from the places and things you look at or learn about. Sometimes, though, you just have to start writing and see where it takes you. That's the whole concept behind my story Moondust. I just keep writing and think about what I want to happen next as I go along.

Hey Guys! I have an account on Fanfiction.net! I started doing a story called The Magic Bridle Kingdom Hearts Club, it's a cross over of The Saddle Club and Kingdom Hearts. I Started it in 9-26- 2006 and it was last updated in 1-15-07. I haven't update in a long time, Because I got bad reviews I mean give me a break. It was my first time ever writing fanfaction story, and yet I got negative reviews. Just because some people thought it was 'Childish' badly written, That's why I hesitate doing a Bella Sara fanfiction story. By the way If you see a note that says 'Note: if you don’t like it! Don’t read the rest of it!' at the beginning and the ending of the first chapter of my Bella Sara fanfiction story called: 'INTO THE NORTH OF NORTH' I wasn't doing it to be mean. I just didn't want read the bad reviews. Can I ask you Something? Have you ever work on something on so hard that you wanted to share it with other people? Only to have People say negative stuff about it, which can be very hurtful. Well that's how I feel. 'starts feeling tears in eyes' Hey If you want to read the fanfiction story that I wrote on Fanfiction.net Here's the link for it. www.fanfiction.net/u/1097082/HorseMagic17

Here's my new-ish Fanfiction account, if you were wondering: www.fanfiction.net/~ishoutrawr And I know this isn't really the place to bring Fanfiction.net up, but hence Unicorn's last post, I decided to post this.

And Unicorn, I've had something similar happen to me, but I bet those who criticized your story were trying to be constructive and helpful; if not, they might have thought it irrelevant and distasteful, but you can't let critics bring you down, even after publishing your very first fic. I mean, it's Fanfiction.net, and there are a lot of critics!

I know what you mean- I've written a bit on fanfiction.net, and even though I haven't gotten any horrid reviews they are definitely out there! Some people just seem to have a ton of anger to vent, and do so (VERY unfairly) by letting it out on poor, innocent writers! It's shameful.
But anyway, to tie fanfiction.net to the contest, i would like to point out that sometimes the best ideas for fanfictions or stories or even novels come to me when i'm writing something else! Writing in general just fuels your mind, and helps it come up with new ideas. Here are some more tips: 1. Watch a good movie. I just watched a most fantastic one, and even though it has nothing to do with anything i am currently writing, it inspired me to go out and write! Seeing what things other people have created have turned into make me want to achieve something similar! 2. Nature inspires me to write stuff about North of North- if i go for a run, the trees and fresh air on my face make me think of riding. When i go skiing, i am reminded of Valeryk and the whitemantle mountains. When i go waterskiing or boating, i always think of water horses! 3. Nothing makes me want to write more than research. I recently wanted to write a fanfic for the movie "Newsies" (which is amazing, go watch it or forever regret it!), but i wasn't inspired at all. so i started googling the topography of new york, the history of the buildings around the area, typhoid epidemics, immigration statistics... and i got a great idea! For Bella Sara fanfics, i look at the map, or read information sheets, or study cards and herds. 4. Sleeping. i always have ideas while i'm falling asleep, and sometimes even dream about them! and then they turn into daydreams, and it is wonderful.

I have to agree with starry dancer. I get really good ideas while I'm asleep, or when I'm outside, or when I'm reading. I'd recommend that if you want to write something really good, you probably want to read a couple of short stories or a chapter of something like Harry Potter before starting, because it makes you mind work more creatively. And reading something good makes me happy and confident about what I'm writing after.

And that you, Rain--*points*--had another account named "I say RAWR"!! 321unicorn, I checked out your story, and it is pretty good, and though chapters are short, you make up for that by having a lot of chapters. Though I've only read a few Saddle Club books and have no idea what Kingdom Hearts is, it seems good! ;D As Rain said, don't let it get you down! ;D Of course, no one has said anything about my fanfiction story right now/yet, but I'll ignore them, unless they have a good reason.
