So, I saw the newest DVD, the Lost Herds, which incorporates the sunflowers and moonfairies stories. I liked it overall, but definitely had some issues too! So, I was wondering what everyone else who watched it thought; good? bad? tell me what you think!

It was okay, but it was a bit boring because they used like the same stances for every scene, and I don't think they had different actors do the voices.

I think that thye just had one actress- the producer's daughter, fancythat- do ALL of the voices, even Colm and Johann!
Besides that, I really didn't like how much of a brat Emma was! She was so mean to Colm, and generally seemed quite a bit of a snob! I imagined Emma as nicer than that.

Yeah, I think it was animated because they used like the same stances like every time and when the horses flew they just stayed in one stance like when you play with horse figurines. And Starry I didn't notice that Emma was being snotty, so was she? I'm going to have to rewatch my DVD again....

The DVd is quasi-animated, certainlybetter than the first but still not, well, real animation. It's a lot of art from the cards moving around the screen.
yeah, I think it was about half an hour of "movie-" type stuff but there are a lot of extras, like lists of cards, a guessing game, and the first DVD's show.
It seems to me like Emma likes picking on Colm in this one- he does't really do anything but act like any preteen boy (like my brother!) and Emma taunts him and geneally acts bratty-ly. If I had my way, I would invest more money in the DVD franchise than HCG has, and A. Get new voice actors- a new girl whose voice wasn't so grating, and who was more talented at doing multiple voices, and a guy! B. Actuall animate it with newartwork, like the commercials C. make Emma actually nice!

Let's put it this way - they're characters in the world of rainbows and magical horses. I wouldn't expect them to be very literate.

I hated the voices!!! And, I mean, some parts I liked. But they could have done so much better! What about cartoon instead of 2D? I mean seriously. I was entranced by the first, even though there wasn't much information, and I wasn't by this one, I don't know why. I didn't think Emma was a brat though, because as 321Unicorn said, in Valkrist's Flight you can see they are competitive.
